Public Joint-Stock Company “Northern Iron Ore Enrichment Works” is the biggest ore-mining enterprise in Europe with complete cycle of blast furnace raw material preparation – iron-ore concentrate (iron content 66%) and pellets (iron content 60.3% and 63.5%).
PJSC “Northern Iron Ore Enrichment Works” is a part of Metinvest Group which is the biggest private company in Ukraine, its mining and smelting enterprises are combined into a common industrial and market cycle from coal and ore output to metal sale.
Nowadays manufacturing capacity of the enterprise allows producing 14.2 Mtonnes of concentrate and 11.1 Mtonnes of pellets. Big deposits of iron quartzite are mined at Pervomayskyi and Annovskyi pits with their general industrial reserves of 3 108 Mtonnes of mineral recourses being the raw materials base of the enterprise.
2 dressing works, 2 pellet shops and some subsidiary shops serving the main production alongside with two open pits are the part of Northern Iron Ore Enrichment Works. The company has its own medical service and well-developed social sphere.
Advanced technologies for provision of the automated systems of management of the industrial technological process and for accounting of finished products, raw materials based on the international system of accounting, planning and management of industry SAP ERP are implemented at the enterprise. The system of electronic tenders SRM in the Internet and HR module were implemented in 2009 within the scope of the business processes optimization by my SAP ERP.
The system of loading control and GPS satellite positioning on technological automobile and railroad transport is successfully used in the pits of the enterprise.
Powerful investing program of our enterprise is directed towards updating of mining and industrial equipment. Automobile parks of the enterprise have been replenished with 11 new BeLAZ 130-ton trucks; railroad equipment has been replenished with powerful drag-out aggregates.
Due to the investment program the transport park of Mining Transport Shop No.1 has been replenished with a new highly effective crawler bulldozer KOMATSU D375.
