Metinvest will conduct safety trainings using computer games

Metinvest Group is starting cooperation with CT Influence Games (CTIG), a developer and operator of computer simulations for corporate sector. The goal of the joint project is to improve effectiveness of the health and safety system at iron and steel making, as well as mining enterprises, which is one of the most important development areas for the Company.

Since the date of its foundation, Metinvest has been systemically working on the reduction of incident and injury rates, and prevention of negative environmental impact. Computer simulation will become a part of the training system and support risk reduction activities in these areas.

The CTIG team's computer game will facilitate greater involvement of employees to search and elimination of so-called root causes of incidents and injuries, understanding of the regulations and instructions, policies and procedures. When discussing cases of injuries in the form of a game, Metinvest specialists will better understand and remember, how these emergencies could be prevented. At the same time, according to the world experience, such virtually personal experience helps employees remember the information better.
