Since 2005 PJSC “Northern GOK” has been systematically taking measures for the improvement of housing and utility conditions of the population of Damanskiy residential district. The road “Damanskiy-Northern GOK” has been built for 1.5 million UAH. More than 1 million UAH was allotted to a capital repair of the Palace of Sports in 2007.
Based on a long-term experience reconstructing of aged objects and erecting of new ones, the management of PJSC “Northern GOK” made a decision to proceed to the next level of reconstruction of Damanskiy residential district.
Before issuing a tender on the project works, for the first time in Krivoy Rog, the viewpoint of the residents was taken into consideration; in the distributed questionnaires they could express their wishes concerning the way they would like to see their district.
The roads have been repaired and the borders have been changed. Road marking is made of the wear-proof thermoplastic that will increase the degree of comfort for drivers as well as traffic-safety. Modern stops have been built, sidewalks have been repaired. Street lights have been restored, luminous tablets with the names of the streets and numbers of the houses have been fixed. All lamps in the street lights have been replaced with energy-conserving ones.
Unique dynamic illumination of Damanskiy streets gives people festive mood. Everyone who wants to have a rest at the all-season dynamically lit fountain, that due to its electronic adjustment creates different light effects, will have the same mood.
